Make & Mend sewing workshops with Laura and Jade
A project-based sewing workshop where participants worked on their own garments or ideas — from commercial patterns and new makes to alterations and reworks. It was a practical and supportive space to learn, experiment, and progress personal sewing projects, with both instructors offering hands-on guidance and sharing their skills throughout.

Make a bumbag from vintage textiles at Woodford Folk Festival
A hands-on sewing workshop exploring upcycling and creative reuse of materials. Participants used thrifted and repurposed fabrics to sew their own festival bumbag, complete with a zipper opening, adjustable strap, and secure closure. Everyone left with a completed, one-of-a-kind bumbag made by them — ready to wear to festivals and beyond.
